Venus Ebony Starr Williams was born on June 17, 1980, in Lynwood, California, the United States to parents Richard Williams and Oracene Price. She was raised alongside five siblings including Serena Williams, Yetunde Price, Lyndrea Price, Isha Price, and Richard Williams III.
