American actor Tyler Gerald Burrell was born. Burrell is well renowned for his work on the ABC comedy Modern Family, where he played Phil Dunphy. After eight consecutive nominations, he won the Primetime Emmy Award in 2011 and 2014 for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for this role.
