Kirsty Gallacher Ex-Husband: Meet Paul Sampson

Paul Sampson is an English Rugby union player and the ex-husband of Kirsty Gallacher is a Scottish television presenter and sports journalist.

The pair have two children together – Oscar and Jude. Kirsty and Paul were married from 2010 until 2015.

Following their divorce, Kirsty branded her marriage to Paul “the worst investment she has ever made” because of the toll it took on her finances.

She told the Sunday Times, at the time: “Divorce is a nightmare, the legal fees and all the c*** that goes with it.”

She added she would think twice before getting married again, saying: “It is too complex to get divorced when you have lots of things.”

Kirsty continued: “I am a lucky girl but the more you have, the more you lose.” Kirsty Gallacher also revealed in 2020 that she was left suffering PTSD following her “painful” split from ex-husband Paul Sampson.

As a rugby union plater, Paul has played for London Welsh, Blackheath, Worcester Warriors, Bath and Wasps, as well as Wakefield Trinity and London Broncos.

At the conclusion of the 1998 Southern Hemisphere trip, Sampson earned his maiden England cap against South Africa. On the summer North America trip in 2001, he earned two more caps, both against Canada.
