As of July 2023, Eric Stonestreet is not married. However, he is engaged to Lindsay Schweitzer, a pediatric nurse. The couple met in 2016 at the Big Slick charity weekend in Kansas City and have been dating since then. They got engaged on August 22, 2021.
Eric Stonestreet’s interest in acting began when he was a child. He created a clown character named Fizbo and started performing at younger children’s birthday parties at the age of 11.
Eric Stonestreet later appeared in All My Sons and Twelfth Night before studying improv at ImprovOlympic and The Second City Training Center in Chicago. He then moved to Los Angeles to begin his professional acting career.
In 2013, Eric Stonestreet appeared in a series of advertisements for the Australian retail store Big W. In the fall of the same year, Stonestreet played the “Fan Coach” in the AT&T “Be A Fan” commercial series.
Eric Stonestreet has appeared in films including Bad Teacher (2011), Identity Thief (2013), The Loft (2013), and Confirmation (2016), and provides the voice of Duke in the animated Secret Life of Pets film franchise (2016–2019).
