Michael Ballack is a now retired German football player with a net worth of $25 million. Ballack was born on 26th September 1976 in the historical region of Gorlitz of Upper Lusatia and Silesia, which is presently known as the Free State of Saxony. His parents are – Stephan Ballack and Karin Ballack – an engineer and a secretary. Later the family moved to Karl-Marx-Stadt where Ballack as a kid started playing football. Ballack got married to his girlfriend Simone Lambe on 14th July 2008 and have three children – Louis, Emilio and Jord born respectively on 2001, 2002 and 2005.
Ballack started his career playing for a local team called Chemnitz and debuted in 1995 professionally. He began playing for Regionalliga, but after the first season he was transferred in 1997 to Kaiserslautern. Ballack has won the Bundeslinga in his first season – it was his first major honour. He earned a national senior cap for Germany after he became a regular in the 1998 to 1999 season. Later in 1999 he moved to Bayer Leverkusen.
